Telstra's 24 month lease plans give you the flexibility to upgrade your phone after 12 months. What’s more, because you won’t take ownership of the phone, you could pay up to $10 less per month compared to some My Business Mobile handset and plan combinations.
Work on-the-go. Australia’s fastest mobile network based on national average combined 3G/4G mobile speeds.
You can upgrade to a new eligible phone after 12 months, provided you return the old phone to Telstra within 14 days of entering into a new 24 month mobile contract and pay any upgrade fee (which will vary depending on whether your phone is damaged). If you fail to return your phone within 14 days after an upgrade, you must pay up to its Fair Market Value plus 20%.
Work across compatible devices. Share your plan data with your SIM-ready tablet by purchasing a Data Share SIM for just $5 per month. So when you're out and about you've got data on-the-go (100MB included). Maximum 5 SIMs per service.
When you choose a ‘Blue Tick’ mobile phone, you can be sure that you’re experiencing the best possible coverage in regional and rural locations.
My Business Mobile Lease Plans:
You must lease an eligible phone for 24 months, you don't own the phone, and must return it at the end of the lease unless you make an offer to purchase it. If your lease is cancelled within 12 months, you must pay the remaining lease payments. If your lease is cancelled after 12 months, you can return the phone and pay $99 if in good working order. Additional fees up to $499 apply if you return a damaged phone, the locking features have not been disabled, you cancel your lease early and return a damaged phone or you don't return your phone at the end of your lease. Telstra prides itself on the quality of its product, something that has traditionally been reflected in the generally higher prices of its mobile plans and broadband deals. However, recently Telstra’s marketing approach has taken a dynamic shift from that of a premium service provider to an affordable one, aimed at a larger share of the market.
If you’re not a repeat customer Telstra is still one of the more expensive providers out there as most of their mobile plans and broadband deals focus around bundles. Telstra offers great discount bundle prices for customers who stay with them over more than one service.
Even if you aren’t already with Telstra you can still save money when you compare phone and broadband deals online, as Telstra almost always has some juicy internet bargains you won’t find in-store.
Telstra’s reputation for mobile phones centres around great coverage, a figure reflected by its 9.7 million mobile plan subscribers and claim that the Telstra Next G network covers 99% of the Australian population. Telstra Mobile deals (both bundled and unbundled) have recently become more competitively priced and a variety of limited-time offers are often available for any customer who keeps a sharp eye on internet listings. So keep your eye out, you never know what great deals you might be missing out on.
